i never really liked pantera save mabee 1 or two of their songs, i have never yet heard any of damage plan, or i might have w/o knowing it.

just wanted to hear the thoughts from u metal fans.


and does anyone find it odd that it was on john lennon's murder's anniversary?

This is a sad day in Music... DimeBag Darrel was an excelent guitarist and a just all around killer guy. Pantera was one of the best metal bands to date and they knew just how to get a concert going (you yellowcard fans dont know what a mosh pit is about)

Damage Plan was just off the wall, Great CD, every song just gets you going like no other. FOr those of you who didnt ever listen to t should pick it up. its a great CD.

Well I like Yellowcard but I cant see anybody moshing to it.....

I heard that the guy who shot him was Pantera fan and was I guess pissed they broke up so he decided to shoot the guitar player....and I think 4 others were killed in the shooting then a cop shot the gunman.

This might be rumor... but from what i've heard one of the other fatalities was a fan jumping in front of dimebag and taking 2 bullets for him, if this is true then i would like to say thankyou to the guy for standing up for whats right.

Yes it did, i too my Lady to the yellowcard concert at Mesa Amp, and there were Seriouly people trying to mosh, Funniest Crap ever next to Ty playing skills

Oh yea, the reasont the Fan killed him was because he was Deranged, He was taking panter Lyrics and writing them down on pieces of paper and messing them up and claiming that he wrote the songs. when this didn't work he then thought Dimebag Darrel was trying to steal his identity through the internet so he went to the concert. Jumped up on stage and confronted him about it. When Dimebag said he didnt know what he was talking about and told him he was crazy. The guy pulled out his gun shot him 5 times in the head and shot a few other people.

What is this world coming to???
